The Dana and David Dornsife Cognitive Neuroimaging Center (DNI) was created in response to the brain imaging needs of USC scientists seeking to understand the relation between neural and mental phenomena in humans. The Center is dedicated to pursuing structural and functional studies of the human brain using state-of-the-art techniques, contributing to the development of future brain imaging modalities, and disseminating knowledge about brain, mind, and imaging to students and the public.
Our lab utilizes state-of-the-art Eyelink eye-tracking technology. The eye tracker provides fast, accurate, and reliable gaze location and pupil size tracking, all from the comfort of our lab.
Our lab also utilizes gold-standard 32-channel EEG hyperscanning techniques using Brain Products' BrainAmp suite. These systems allow us to understand the small changes in neural activity that underly the way we communicate and provide emotional support to our loved ones.
